THE DRACONIC ORDER — MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT *
The Draconic Order is built on service, community, creativity, and trust. Members are expected to treat one another—and the communities we serve—with honesty, integrity, respect, and consideration.
As a member of The Draconic Order, I agree to:
Be honest and act in good faith.
Treat members, volunteers, participants, vendors, guests, and the public with dignity and respect.
Respect differences of opinion and personal beliefs. Disagreement is okay; harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, retaliation, discrimination, and abusive behavior are not.
Follow reasonable safety rules and avoid conduct that puts others at unnecessary risk.
Use Order funds, property, equipment, records, systems, and other resources responsibly and only for authorized purposes.
Respect private and confidential information entrusted to me.
Follow the Bylaws, policies, procedures, and reasonable directions that apply to my participation.
Speak for The Draconic Order only when I am authorized to do so and clearly distinguish my personal opinions from official Order positions.
Raise concerns honestly and in good faith. No one should be retaliated against for making a good-faith report, filing a grievance, or participating in a review.
Accept responsibility for my own actions and cooperate reasonably when concerns or complaints are reviewed.
The Draconic Order does not seek to control members’ private lives. However, conduct outside Order activities may be reviewed when it has a substantial connection to the safety, integrity, lawful operation, finances, or positions of trust within the organization.
Serious or repeated violations may result in corrective action, restrictions, suspension, removal from a position of trust, or termination of membership.
Our goal is not perfection. It is to build a community where people act responsibly, treat one another well, learn from mistakes, and protect the trust placed in The Draconic Order.
